Fashion has always played an important role in the life of teenagers. Young people try to express themselves through clothes, hairstyles and accessories. In big cities there are modern shopping centres where they can buy almost everything they want. Fashion magazines and social networks influence their choices and show the latest trends. However, fashionable clothes are often expensive. Some students spend all their pocket money to look stylish, while others borrow money from their parents. Not everybody believes it is necessary. Many teenagers prefer comfortable clothes because they can move freely and feel more confident. Nowadays second-hand shops are becoming popular again. They are cheaper, environmentally friendly and sometimes offer unique items. Clothes are not only part of appearance, but also a way of communication and self-expression, helping young people to demonstrate their individuality.
